Gifts are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Your gift of:
- $2,080 will provide meals for 1 year
- $175 will provide meals for 1 month
- $40 will provide meals for 1 week
How do I apply for the service?
To apply for meals on wheels you will need to be assessed.
The assessment can take place at your home. You can contact us by Email to
or telephone (641) 380-0080.
What time will my meal be
delivered?
Your hot meal will be delivered between 11.00
a.m. and 2.00 p.m.
Who will deliver it?
Your will be assigned a regular driver.
There will be occasions when a relief driver
will deliver your meal.
How much will I have to pay?
The cost of the meal is £1.55 per day.
Your driver will collect this from you.
It would be appreciated if you could pay
for your meals weekly on either Monday or Friday.
Do you cater for special dietary
requirements?
Yes. If you have any dietary requirements,
for example if you’re Diabetic or if you’re allergic to any foods, please
call or fill out our online comment page (Coming Soon) and we will try to help you
with an alternative meal.
What should I do if I’m not
going to be in to take my meal?
If you’re not going to be in, for example
if you have a hospital or doctors appointment, please let us know
as soon as possible. You can either:

tell your driver or

contact the meals service.
May we stress the importance of you being
in to receive your meal.
If we can’t deliver your meal to you, we
have to contact relatives, friends, neighbours etc, to make sure nothing
has happened to you.
