Funds for operation are no longer received from the state, and very limited federal dollars are available to us. All money must be raised locally. This is done through donations from individuals, churches, civic organizations and the United Way.
Others Ways To Help
For those who are not able to give their time to volunteer for Meals on Wheels, our program does accept donations. In the past, several businesses, foundations, schools, and individuals have given monetary and/or in-kind donations to our program for the use of Meals on Wheels recipients. With their help, we have especially been able to make the holidays a little brighter for our homebound seniors.
