Get Involved!
Volunteers play an important part in the Meals on Wheels program.
We need you to:
- deliver meals
- wash and maintain delivery vans
- do secretarial work
- write and research grants
- represent the program at health and community fairs
- take photographs
- or serve on the Board
of Directors
Our volunteers lend a hand
from professionals donating specific services to students with a few hours of spare time contributing around the
office, and everything in-between! Whether you want the hands-on experience of delivering meals, have a specific
skill to offer, or simply want to help out, we welcome your assistance.

Meals are delivered by volunteer drivers from the community.
Meal on Wheels operates under the direction of a volunteer board of directors.
The board has a management contract with Community Kitchen of North Iowa, which provides a coordinator for the program.
