Quote of the Week

Don't worry that you can't give your kids the best of everything. Give them your very best.

Did you know

26 million additional people could be fed, at U.S. levels of consumption, if the amount of edible food wasted in the United States each day were reduced by one-third.

Our Volunteers

The meals are prepared by local volunteers who are the real strength of The Community Kitchen. These volunteers are from local and area religious denominations, community service organizations, junior high and senior high school classes, youth groups, and local businesses. Our volunteers represent all levels of economic and social strata in our communities, and are a true 'cross section' of sincere concern and caring for our clients.

We are so grateful to all of the volunteers who generously devoted valuable time and energy to our organization. Each individual's contribution has had a direct impact on our site and has helped shape The Community Kitchen.
