One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.

Need Food?
The first priority of the Community Kitchen of North Iowa is to get food to people in need.
If you need access to food, do not hesitate to phone us at 641-424-2316.
We will provide you with up to date, detailed information on where
and how you can get help.
Where does the food come from?
A majority of the food served by The Community Kitchen is donated by local supermarkets, grocery stores, hospitals, restaurants, wholesalers, bakeries, civic-minded groups, gardeners, and individual contributors.
Volunteers are critical
Many of these donations are gleaned by Kitchen volunteers who pick up the food and bring it to our facility. We pay a modest cost for government commodities we order from the Food Bank of Iowa, in addition to a small shipping fee.
